Itinerary
DAY 1: Rainforest from Cairns to Cooktown
Begin your journey with a scenic drive along the stunning Great Barrier Reef Drive to the world-renowned Daintree Rainforest. Enjoy a one-hour Daintree River boat cruise, followed by a delicious lunch in a serene rainforest setting. Discover the beauty of the Marrdja Boardwalk on a guided rainforest walk, then visit the iconic Cape Tribulation Beach. Travel the adventurous Bloomfield 4WD Track before arriving in Cooktown, where a warm welcome dinner awaits.
Overnight stay at the luxurious Sovereign Resort
DAY 2: Explore Cooktown
Spend the day exploring the rich history of Cooktown with a driver-guided foreshore walk, visit to Reconciliation Rocks, and a tour of the Heritage-listed Cooktown Cemetery. Delve into local history at the James Cook Museum, and enjoy a peaceful stroll through the scenic Cooktown Botanic Gardens.
Overnight stay at the luxurious Sovereign Resort
DAY 3: Outback from Cooktown to Cairns
Head inland from the coast as we journey through the rugged Outback of Queensland, where the landscape is dotted with impressive termite mounds and vast, open plains. Take breaks at notable landmarks like Black Mountain, Byerstown Lookout, and the Palmer River Roadhouse. Enjoy a flavorful lunch at Skybury Coffee Plantation before heading to the stunning Barron Falls Lookout in Kuranda National Park. Our last stop is a guided nature walk through the tranquil Cattana Wetlands. The day wraps up with transfers back to Cairns, Northern Beaches, and Port Douglas.

Important Information
A general level of mobility & fitness is required to join this tour:
- The 4WD Coach used for our Cooktown Tour has several steps on entry, and passengers will need to board and disembark from the vehicle several times throughout the day.
- Walks included are all considered easy and are less than 1klm in length. The terrain through out this tour features uneven surfaces and step hills and is not suitable for mobility impaired guests
Travel on the 4wd Bloomfield Track is weather-dependent. An alternative route via inland Mulligan Hwy may be taken with no refund.
